Just when Samantha Parker thinks she and husband Will are finally heading into happy, romantic empty-nest adventures, her husband tells her he wants an open marriage. They had married when she became pregnant in high school, and stayed together to raise a family with three children. And now she has to come to terms with a possible end to their marriage. She agrees to spend the summer apart. While he goes on his own adventures (and she's sure that he'll come back to her afterwards), she will find herself. She agrees to help his best friend, Logan, deliver his classic cars cross-country throughout the summer. But Logan forces Sam to look at her choices and at the cracks in her life that she has been ignoring: she begins to wonder what her life could look like if she put herself first.
